HBO Max zostało już zastąpione przez nowy serwis – MAX – w Stanach Zjednoczonych. To efekt współpracy Warner Bros. i grupy Discovery. Nowe rozwiązanie za jakiś czas zadebiutuje także na kolejnych rynkach. Jak się okazuje, amerykańska oferta MAX pozytywnie zaskakuje. Jeśli w identycznej postaci trafi do Europy – mamy na co czekać!

MAX to na tą chwilę sztos!

Serwis MAX dość udanie zastępuje HBO Max. Jego twórcy chcą zaoferować użytkownikom kilka wariantów subskrypcji, dostosowując ofertę do potrzeb specyficznych grup widzów (także o różnej zasobności portfela). Możemy się spodziewać, że podobna oferta zostanie przedstawiona za kilka miesięcy w Europie, w tym w Polsce. Na tą chwilę można decydować się na jeden z następujących planów:

  • abonament z reklamami – 9,99 USD miesięcznie lub 99,99 USD rocznie – możliwość korzystania na dwóch urządzeniach jednocześnie, wideo w jakości Full HD, brak możliwości pobierania, wsparcie dla dźwięku przestrzennego w formacie 5.1,

  • abonament Ultimate – 19,99 USD miesięcznie lub 199,99 USD rocznie – możliwość korzystania na czterech urządzeniach jednocześnie, wideo w jakości 4K, maksymalnie 100 pobrań miesięcznie, wsparcie dla dźwięku Dolby Atmos w kompatybilnych produkcjach.

Ciekawi fakt, że MAX subskrybentom najdroższego planu serwuje potężną bazę produkcji (zarówno filmów, jak i seriali) dostępnych w rozdzielczości 4K. Jako że z telewizorów 4K korzystamy coraz częściej – może on cieszyć się sporą popularnością. Oczywiście jeśli zostanie odpowiednio wyceniony. Nie podejrzewam bowiem, by przeliczając bezpośrednio, za około 100 złotych zawojował polski rynek.
